Meet our Staff
Kara Schmidtke, PTA, Racine Clinic Director
Kara is a full-time member of our growing team of manual therapists and has been with Balistreri for four years (first as an aide, and now as a Physical Therapist Assistant.) She is also the Clinic Manager of our Racine clinic. Kara's professional interests include aquatic therapy, orthopedics, and strength training. Kara has taken continuing education courses in myofascial release and aquatic therapy. She is also a Certified Pool Operator. Kara resides in Kenosha with her family and her recreation interests include outdoor activities and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
Nancy Iuliano, PT
Nancy joined our staff here at Balistreri & Associates Physical Therapy in 2004. She brought with her over 20 years experience in the field of Physical Therapy. She graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. She enjoys working with adult orthopedics, especially shoulders and backs. Her treatment style is customized to meet the needs of her patients and manual therapy exercises are her focus for treatment. The idea of becoming a physical therapist caught her attention in high school when she read a brochure on physical therapy. When not treating she loves to be with her teenage daughters, husband, and pets.
