• Comprehensive customized initial evaluation with resultant plan of care
• Patient education in anatomy, biomechanics and musculoskeletal condition relative to their diagnosis and symptoms
• Thorough "hands-on" patient treatment consisting of but not limited to:
- Myofascial release
- Soft tissue mobilization
- Joint mobilization
- Therapeutic exercise for flexibility and strengthening
- Advanced strength and conditioning
- Work simulation
- Postural exercise
- Home exercise program
- Education in proper body mechanics and lifting principles
- Modalities as indicated
- Family instruction and home assessment if indicated
- Aquatic Therapy
• Treatment sessions 45 minutes to 1 hour in length on land or in the therapeutic pool per plan of care
• Home Exercise program established at the initial visit with home program upgrades as indicated by patient progress
• Courtesy phone follow-up 2 weeks post discharge to ensure progress with program
• Courtesy follow-up visit with the therapist, if needed, for additional patient questions or to address any difficulty with patient's home exercise program, and upgrade patient's home program as necessary
• Ongoing opportunity for patient to contact therapist if he/she has any questions or difficulty with their home program
